I’m a dad and math teacher who has five kids looking to help other students out there who want to understand math but perhaps hasn’t gotten the help they need. I’ve been a foster parent, adopted four of our children, worked in 7 school districts, and taught everything from Pre-Algebra to Calculus 2.

I’ve never been the best at math. Which makes me unique in terms of how I am able to teach math to someone who also doesn’t understand right away. I’m a holistic and comprehensive thinker which means the pieces have to align for them to make sense. I bring this philosophy to every math concept I teach.

I’ve taught 5 years in Special Education and I have multiple children with IEP’s. This allows me to see mathematics through a lens that other math teachers simply can’t. I hope to bring this help outside of my small math classroom.
